This is a 1966 Porsche 912 Coupe. It is an early production car with the three gauge dashboard. The car was in dry inside storage from 2008 till just recently. The engine number is 746794 which makes it an early 1966 engine. It is most likely the original engine. The color code is 6606. It is equipped with the following: 5 speed transmission, Blaupunkt AM radio, and all five wheels are date stamped 3/66. The interior was replaced shortly before it was placed in storage. The odometer reads 203 and I do not know what the true mileage is. Within the last 30 days, the car has had the following work in order to recommission it: Oil and filter change, new fuel tank, fuel hoses,fuel filter, spark plugs, points, ignition wires, fan belt, and front and rear lid struts. The valves were adjusted, the brakes were serviced, and the carbs were cleaned. The carbs are the correct single shaft units.. This is a driver quality car. It is not perfect. There are some paint blemishes, there is a small dent in the right front fender, and there is some corrosion in the inner rockers. The front suspension pan is very good. The prior owner had this car for 42 years. The engine was rebuilt at some point. Included are service records going back many years. Included are the two front bumper guards, front bumper deco, some touch up paint, and some extra material for the interior. The car runs and drives, it just needs to be driven. It is being sold as is, as shown. There is no warranty\ or guarantee of any kind. The buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The balance is due within 7 days of the close of the auction. The deposit and only the deposit can be made by PayPal. Due to the proliferation of forged bank checks, the balance will only be accepted by either cash or bank transfer. I can store the car inside for up to two weeks after the close of the auction as long as the above payment schedule is met.
