This type was available from 1988 until and including 2000. During this period the model remained nearly unchanged. In the year 1990 a special edition, the GL1500 SE, was introduced at the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Honda Gold Wing The purchaser is also responsible for a $99.50 (administrative processing fee) and a $179 (vehicle preparation fee) Depending on state of residence, sales tax may also apply. MI residents must pay 6% sales tax. The purchaser is also responsible for any and all applicable local, county, state or federal taxes/fees that may apply including, but not limited to title, registration and plate fees.
