I Have for sale a 2001 Lincoln Town Car Executive 4 Door Sedan, black color with with leather interior that I have owned since 2001. I stop driving it in 2006 when we got a new van and the family size grew. It just stayed parked. I was getting $10,000 from somebody I knew in 2007 and I should have taken it but it was my pride and joy so I didn't sell it. It has been parked in garage or gated driveway fro last 10 years nearly and has lost value. Two years ago I got it repainted black and cleaned it up and after 200 miles or so it sat again, so goes the life. Now we bought a new Mazda SUV X9 so this has to go, has been sitting and I am paying DMV and insurance every year. Purchased it from a Thousand Oaks Lincoln Dealer in 2003 (then 2 years old with 24,000 miles), I have owned it since. It has sat and lost value, but time to let go of my love of this newer style Town Car. So, the vehicle is 2001 Town Car Executive with black fabric Carriage Style top - generally good condition. Just under 100,000 miles, generally clean, just needs some TLC and it will shine like new. PERFECT FOR RUNNING A LIMOUSINE since it is black exterior, fabric top and black leather interior. For $1,450, a limousine is not a bad deal and it should work another 100,000 miles. See condition listed above. Just needs some TLC. See all pics of my car - ignore background in my driveway. RESPONSE TO A QUESTION BY AN EBAYER:CAN YOU DETAIL MEANING OF NEEDING TLC - IS THE CAR MECHANICALLY SOUND OR WHAT IT NEEDS, DID IT PASS LAST SMOG? ANSWER: There is nothing wrong with it mechanically. Just lost value sitting there. I was about to sell it to someone in 2007 with about 5,000 less on odometer at that time for $10,000. Here are the TLC points: will need either a recharge or a new battery - its been sitting there with the new battery it had for about 2 years. It will need a good cleanup and a 100 miles drive before it can be smogged. Last time it was smogged was two years ago and it passed after driving for 100 miles or so. The engine is strong, the body is good, the new paint job from two years ago is still good. And, above all everything works - the car should drive well. The fabric trim around the rear window needs some tacking down. SO, TLC means such minor caring for it to be a beautifully grossly inexpensive limo for a limo service. No mechanical issues. It was just fine when it was left parked. It has got about 10,000 in last ten plus years. Early miles were a lot of highway trips between San Francisco and Los Angeles soon after we moved to SF. I have owned this since 2003 or 2004.
