Not too many are super solid, tight, rattle free cars where everything works 100% including the AC. This Calumet Cream 76 Eldo is a fine example of what these cars should look like and ride like. Smooth, powerful, and quiet. I have been collecting Cadillacs for 40 years and have owned at least 100. My current collection spans from 1960-1985, all convertibles. This car belonged to my elderly neighbor and he always kept the car in the garage from day 1. It was never used as an everyday car. Pleasure trips to the Jersey Shore and sometimes going out for a Sunday drive was what this car was used for. The mileage is only 39,000 and the car was never driven in the snow or in bad weather. He is moving to a smaller place with a one car garage and his new Mercedes will occupy the garage. I purchased the car earlier in the year and cannot justify to my wife why I need two 76 Eldorado convertibles, so I am keeping my black one and this one is now for sale. I still consider it a one owner since I have only had the car for a short time and the original owner has had it since 1976. This is an original paint car except for the front and rear bumper fillers which were professionally replaced. The top is new and the tires are new. This car runs perfectly and needs nothing. You can drive from coast to coast with no worries. As an original paint car, there are a few nicks and chips here and there, but you should expect a few flaws on a 40 year old car. The interior is in mint condition and this car looks just as good or better in person as it does in these photos.
