I am EXTRAORDINARILY excited to offer for a sale this BEAST of a Raptor which looks absolutely stunning in Tuxedo Black over Black Leather. This is a long ad, but please be sure to read the entire thing - there is a lot of wonderful detail to cover! Let's dive right in! Background: If you are looking at this monster, you already know the truck, that I am sure of, but let's spend a minute to review the truck. Powered by a 6.2L V8, with 11"/12" of front/rear suspension travel, Fox bypass shocks, beefed up axles, suspension arms, Torsen differential and a number of other upgrades, the Raptor came from the factory ready to RUMBLE! The Raptor package also added the following in 2014: -Luxury Package -Power Driver and Passenger Seats -Heated/Cooled Front Seats -Automatic Temp Control -Power Adjustable Pedals -Sony CD and HD Radio -Remote Start -Integrated Trailer Brake Controller -Navigation -HID Headlamps This truck was taken even further and FULLY optioned! The following option boxes were checked as well: -Select Shift Transmission -315/70/17 BSW All-Terrain Tires -4.10 Lockable Rear Differential -36 Gallon Fuel Tank -7450lb GVWR Package -Power Moonroof -Pickup Bed Extender -Tailgate Step -17" Bead Lock Aluminum Wheels -Front/Rear View Camera -Spray in Factory Bedliner With the MSRP, options and dealer upcharge, this gorgeous Raptor came out to $62,635, and just under $70,000 with taxes and fees. BUT, we weren't done! The 411hp 6.2L V8 is a monster out of the box, but that wasn't enough! The car was down to the legendary Steve Millen's shop in Costa Mesa, Stillen. Stillen are the only recognized and warrantied installer for Whipple products in SoCal. Gone was the stock intake and in its place appeared a Whipple 2.9L Supercharger kit with the BIG intercooler and 9psi pulley! This SC hums along quietly while in cruise and is almost unheard. Give her a foot full of throttle though, and the supercharger comes alive! The SC winds up, the truck squats down and rockets away! Paired also with the SC kit is a Magnaflow Stainless Steel Cat Back Exhaust that gives a throaty, but not obnoxious note. The truck was dyno'ed after and tuned to make sure all was ready to drive and enjoy. This bad boy now puts out OVER 500hp! You would almost amiss to think there was anything under the hood other then the stock engine until you open her up. So many aftermarket setups are not well setup to drive regularly. This Whipple is made to last reliably and comfortably for the life of the truck! And it behaves absolutely no different than the stock engine, just with greater volumetric efficiency! The receipts at Stillen totaled $10,400, bringing our grand total to this truck up to over $80,000! Now is your chance to save some serious money over replicating this gorgeous truck! The Condition and Service: This is essentially a brand new car, so there is little to report, but let us discuss the finer points Let's start on the engine and drivetrain: -ENGINE This engine comes to life immediately with a twist of the key. With even a crack of the throttle it, the Raptor feels torquey, smooth and powerful, and effortlessly pulls away! More then a leisurely drive? Keep your foot in it and the real thrill of the engine comes to life! The supercharger is in its sweet spot of building boost and you ROCKET away from your fellow drivers. The sound of that throaty V8 with a hint of turbo noise whooshing behind you reminds you very quickly how special this car really is. ZERO air/fuel issues, ZERO detonation, ZERO black smoke, ZERO hesitations or flat spots. Only 2,500 miles are on this bad boy! Read that again! It is like brand new! If for some reason you would like to remove the supercharger, the truck will come with all of the original factory parts, so you could return it to stock! Check out the underside pics and the engine bay pics! -TRANSMISSION The 6 speed transmission is in FANTASTIC shape. Tight, confident shifts. NO issues. The shifter eases into gear without any drama. -SUSPENSION No bangs, no rough ride, no clunks! The shocks dampen AMAZINGLY! The truck is tight in corners, and comfortable on the straights and ready for some serious off or on-road duty! -BRAKES Confident pedal, great pressure with a firm positive stop. Pads and rotors are virtually brand new! -STEERING Steering feels wonderful, no excessive play or vibrations. Let's continue to the exterior: -PAINT and BODY The paint is VERY nice! It is a 8+ out of 10 easily. Shiny, beautiful, Tuxedo Black paint was recently polished, finished and waxed and looks wonderful. There are a few minor flaws on this monster. There are a few scrapes on the passenger side wheel arch flare, a couple small pencil shaped dings/scratches in front of the flare on the bed and a couple very small dings on the passenger side door. None of these are very significant and some are pretty hard to photo, but please see below for snapshots of what can be seen. These flaws are all pretty small and below par for the course considering most of these Raptors are being abused off road. This truck has NEVER been in the dirt. Check out the underside pics. No trail dirt, no scars, NO issues. -WHEELS The 17" aluminum bead lock wheels look fantastic and tough! Only some minor flaws and scratches - again nothing major. -TIRES Plenty of tread left on the monster 315/70/17 tires - virtually brand new -BUMPERS and PLASTICS The bumpers are in very nice shape! Only a couple small nicks in the rear bumper and few scrapes on the lower side of the front bumper. -GLASS/WINDOWS Not to let a pebble defeat this car, the windshield is great shape, with no chips or sandblasting. The door and rear glass is wonderful shape! Clear and clean! Onto the cabin: -SEATS The Black leather seats are in perfect shape! No splits, no worn spots! Just wonderful soft leather! -DASHBOARD ZERO cracks or flaws. Beautiful shape!! -DOOR PANELS Very nice panels, wonderful map pockets and armrest! -CARPET Very nice carpet in the car! No heel wear or stains! -NAVIGATION/RADIO Nav and radio work wonderfully and sound fantastic! -STEERING WHEEL The wheel is in great shape with no wear! The Experience: This Raptor is a dream to drive. Perhaps, you need to gently cruise out of town first, which requires nothing more any other car you have driven. Just alight push on the gas and you are off coddled in leather, cooled seats and premium sound. The steering is direct and gives good feel and the engine is tame and easy to drive. The highway onramp approaches, you mash the gas, the supercharger begins to whirl and you reshuffle yourself in the drivers seat a bit knowing what is about to occur...and here it comes! The SC is wound up, the truck squats in the back and begins to gobble up road. Before you glance down you are at highway speed! Stay in it and things start to get quite fast. But what is that in the distance? Is that a fire road leading to some trails? Turn off the highway and let her rip up the trails! Bumps and whoops so big you think it would swallow the whole truck are soaked up like they are flattened speed bumps! Keep your foot mashed in and experience the closest street legal to a trophy truck you will ever know! Having raced the Baja 1000 personally, I can tell you, THIS is the truck I would do it in again. This Raptor is a true Godzilla to the dirt and when you are ready to come home, it settles right back down to a tame luxury F-150. There are ZERO competitors to the Raptor. NOW is the time to buy too. The new Raptor will be coming soon and will only be offered with a V6. V8 Raptors are going to be the truck every will still want, so buy now before they start to be held onto! Feel free to ask me any questions at all. My standard disclaimer/mantra for any car regardless of service or price: The car is sold with no implied warranty. The supercharger could void the powertrain warranty, I am not sure. You will have all of the stock parts if you chose to convert it back for any warranty purposes. You are buying a used car.
