This is a true GTO with a 242 VIN number. The engine casting is 9790079 and has a Turbo Hydramatic transmission with a Hurst dual gate shifter. New factory style front disc brakes, master cylinder and brake booster were recently installed. A kit to replace the current drum brakes with disc brakes will be included with the car. Brakes sit behind 15" Torque Thrust wheels with BFGoodrich tires. The car was painted in 2014. It was treated with epoxy primer before the 2k primer was applied and then a sealer was used before the Matrix base coat and Matrix Autoglas AG40 high solids clear coat (4 coats), wet sanded and buffed. The car came from the factory with hideaway headlights and A/C. The A/C is not currently installed, though the parts for it (except the compressor) will come with the car.
