I just purchased another car and need this one gone in the next week to free up garage space, so reserve is about as low as the charitable tax write off I could get to ensure a sale. No checks or PayPal (except for deposit); Cash and will only sign over title at a bank. Before you bid/commit, if you want to meet up and have a reputable shop look over the car in detail, happy to try and arrange around my work schedule, perhaps this Friday would be best. Thanks! Maintenance Status: · Regular maintenance done at various Honda dealers in Charlotte, Arlington, and Atlanta (most recent was oil changed 1,000 miles ago).· No engine light on.· Great top - replaced about two years ago.· Replaced 5 year old battery a month or so ago.· Clutch master/slave cylinders replaced in last 20K miles.· Recent Coil Packs replaced in last 20K miles.· Chain Tensioner done maybe three years ago.· Honda dealer I purchased from told me they replaced clutch around 100K (~7 years ago), right before I bought car.· No grinds in transmission.· Alpine Bluetooth Aftermarket head unit.· 245 tires in rear; 225 tires up front (17” Enkei wheels).· AC/Cruise/Top/Radio/Windows Work fine. Known Issues: · Uses about a quart of oil every 1,000 miles (original motor has 200k). Black smoke (but no engine light).· Speed/rpm gauge flickers when idling (only) and stops flickering when in gear. Been doing it pretty much whole time I’ve owned it (i.e., doesn’t appear alternator related).· Ballast recently burned out on driver’s side headlight regular light; bright light on that side still works fine.· Obvious cosmetics as shown by pictures – think I captured the fiberglass cracks; driver side carpet holes; leather seats; dull headlights; center console; no trunk carpet, etc.· Lighter outlet in console needs to be secured.· Inside trunk release doesn’t work, so have to use key for trunk. Probably needs rewired (over time, the trunk hinge closing eventually broke the wiring, which sits right under the hinge on driver’s side. The third brake light was re-wired years ago because of this). Didn’t really care about inside trunk release at the time.· Windshield wiper fluid doesn’t spray on windshield properly. Dealer fixed it; but problem has since returned. Other Considerations: · I’m the second owner, purchasing around 100K. · Years ago, car used to cut off on me when coasting to a stop. Articles discuss this on this on S2000 sites - adjusted my driving technique (coming to stop in gear) and it stopped happening.· I got rear ended at a traffic light when I used to live in Virginia. Low impact, but it split the rear bumper fiberglass, which has since been refinished.· Had some hail damage years ago as well (e.g., insurance replaced hood). · This is a Virginia titled car that is currently located in Smyrna, Georgia. Didn’t want to pay Georgia’s one-time 6.5% fair market value on any vehicle transferred to Georgia for a car I was planning to part ways with in very near future. The Virginia registration recently expired on May 1, 2015.· I took video of the car driving on the highway, starting up, and in town on my iPhone a couple of days ago that I can send over. · Might could use an alignment. Steering wheel not perfectly straight, but no abnormal tire wear noted.
