1973 SAAB SONETT III Upgraded , strong running Sonett. Solid stock Sonett refurbished and modified to be a serious driver and good looks showstopper. Engine compartment significantly upgraded for ease of service and looks. Interior clean stock look with classy upgrades. Body is “wrapped” in 3m flat black and carbon fiber vinyl Custom made front and rear bumpers and rear “spoiler” ( SEE LIST OF MODS BELOW) Very strong engine and tranny Solid chassis / no rust - previous repair below battery is solid All electronics are new upgraded replacements ( one negative - windshield wipers quit ) Base engine was built up at Bud Clark’s shop in L.A. ALL MODIFICATIONS AND CHANGES CAN BE REMOVED , TO PUT BACK TO “STOCK” All Jack Ashcrafts books and Saab shop manuals go with the car. Most removed stock parts go with the car, plus extra doors and some glass. While the car is a strong Sonett and capable of “driving it home” ,driving a classic car across country is always a bit risky. additionally , if you want all the spares , you will need to make arrangements to trailer the car and parts. Over $20,000 USD has been spent getting the Sonett the way you see it. I need to make room in the garage , and the Sonett needs a new home to get driven more.
