Terrific car which has been neglected for too long. In spite of its neglect, this Spitfire starts, runs, and all gauges and lights work. It has a custom wood dash, Jaeger and Smith's gauges, a Moto Lita wood steering wheel (in addition to the original); original hardtop, Ampco chrome bumpers, and hubcaps. You will not find another Spitfire with original mileage like this or a better candidate for a Concourse restoration. When I purchased the car (on eBay, from the 2nd owner, about 12 years ago), it had the original Triumph Bias Ply tires still on the car. I have paperwork from that purchase as well as the original bill of sale, car model pamphlet, advertising documents. I had the car taken down to the metal and repainted in 2004; there was no rust; some old bondo - from an accident in 1967, for which I have the paperwork - was replaced when it was painted. Pictures of car, completely stripped prior to repaint are available. I adore this car, but I rarely drive it, and it deserves some attention.
