Vehicle Detail

Car is clean and quick, used for autocross with Porsche Club of America. No apparent damage from water or flood remains. Head liner in great shape, all leather in good condition except seam on driver's seat cushion. All carpets and floor mats in good shape, along with rear seat upholstery. Paint in excellent condition except small rock chips in front and small scratch on passenger door. Engine runs great, transmission in good shape except shifting first to second will grind if not done carefully. Oil pressure gauge does not show correct pressure. Brakes work well and steering is tight. Also, this is one of the last model years to have manual brakes and steering, meaning more power to the rear wheels. Tires are street legal racing treads, 225 in front and 245 in rear, which give excellent cornering characteristics. Car has been driven 6000 miles in the last 10 years, and has been garaged 100% during that time. Car has passed California smog emissions tests since 2005. No apparent oil leaks. Viewing is encouraged and recommended since car is being sold "as is". On Jul-26-15 at 06:18:48 PDT, seller added the following information: The front hood does not stay up. Has a new battery. Small scratch on passenger side is not on door, but on side of rear quarter panel. On Jul-26-15 at 12:45:55 PDT, seller added the following information: On Jul-28-15 at 19:09:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I bought this car on EBAY in 2005 as a "Turbo Look" 911. There is no sticker under the front hood. I cannot tell turbo brakes from regular brakes and do not know what the difference is. The suspension feels tight, but again, don't know what the difference is between turbo and regular. The sticker in the warranty book says 911 340, but lists no factory installed options at all, even though there are quite a few. I have had Porsche people tell me it is, and I have some tell me it is not. So take that for what it is worth. It looks like a 930, hence "turbo look". I never heard about the 491option thing until it was listed this week or ever tried to find out whether the car was or was not. I sent a request to Porsche USA to verify what the factory installed options were today, so hopefully they will answer directly. Fact of the matter is that this is a great looking car, rides nice, corners great, runs great and it turns heads. It can run autocross within seconds of current models, even beating some of them.
