This is a great 1988 Goldwing with the 1500 cc 6 cylinder engine, priced to sell with NO RESERVE and loaded with all of the Goldwing features that have set the standards for large touring motorcycles since this model was first introduced. It is in perfect mechanical condition and is presently showing 96,892 miles. I fully expect it to still be running great at 200,000 miles as most are typically doing. It has been immaculately maintained and complete maintenance records are available and will be furnished to the purchaser. The engine starts and runs smoothly, transmission and clutch operate with precision, and it pulls powerfully to cruising speed. It is completely ready to to and dependable, I would not hesitate to start to any destination in the United States on this bike!The 1988 model has all of the options that Goldwing has become noted for over the years, such as cruise control, self-canceling turn signals, electric reverse gear for backing out of those low spots or against the occasional curb you may find yourself against, an AM/FM stereo radio with cassette tape player that can switch playback to either the twin stereo speakers in the dash or to speakers in the drivers and passengers helmets. In addition to AM/FM stereo radio or tape for the driver and passenger, there is also an on-board intercom system between the driver and passenger which automatically mutes the sound system when the driver and passenger communicate via their helmet mounted microphone and speakers. It also has an on-board air compressor for the adjustable rear air ride suspension and the air compressor output is switchable to an air hose outlet to allow for airing up a tire while away from any service facilities. It also has self-cancelling turn signals, a feature I have really come to love after riding other bikes.Everything works as it should on this bike, the front tire has 75-80% of its tread life remaining and the rear tire has less than 1,000 miles still essentially brand new. It also has a brand new windshield for clarity as the old one was becoming yellowed, and a brand new seat for comfort and long life. The bike has been meticulously maintained, oil changed and other items service regularly in accordance with Honda recommendations, and the engine, transmission, and final drive function are in excellent condition and function as smoothly as ever. I have maintained a logbook on this bike with every gallon of gas and mileage figures since 1500 original miles which will be furnished to the buyer. Current mileage on this bike as of this writing is 96,892 miles and may increase slightly as I ride a few miles on occasion.There are a couple of minor cracks in the ABS panels and there are also a few minor scuffs and/or scrapes that really detract little from the overall looks, and take away absolutely nothing from the overall function and performance of the machine.
