2005 Sprinter, Super High Roof, extended body. This truck has been driven from Chicago suburbs to DeKalb, Illinois on I-88, daily round trip for 290,000 miles. Original owner. Same driver. This truck has never been wrecked although it does have one fender that is bent from hitting a parking lot post. The truck was taken out of service to replace the glow plugs. We had to remove the cylinder head to remove them. All glow plugs were removed and threads were restored at a machine shop as necessary. When reassembling the engine we found a cracked piston head and decided not to complete the rebuild. This engine was running good prior to this maintenance. The transmission, turbo, and all running gear are believed to be in good condition. The radiator is new. Grill, radiator and headlights are also still disassembled. This truck is being offered as is/where is with no warranties. The truck can be used for parts (the parts from this truck are in high demand) or the engine rebuild can be completed and this truck can be put back into service.
