Up for auction is this beautiful 1979 vw super beetle convertible. It has a New convertible top (professionally installed), all new interior also professionally installed, new 4 wheel disc brake conversion, and new paint job. the floor and frame are all solid and rust free. the body and paint is in "nice" condition this was not a "barrett jackson" paint job so there are some flaws in the paint looks good would make a great daily driver or weekend fun car. there is some minor finish work to do like install some small trim pieces and maybe some weather striping, there is no radio in the car rite now because i did not want to cut holes in the new interior panels for speakers i can throw in a radio and speakers if the buyer wishes. the car runs and drives very well engine starts rite up, idles smooth and has lots of power. the transmission works well with no noises and shifts very smooth. the clutch feel good. the brakes are all brand new. the suspension is in good working order as is the electrical and steering system. i would not hesitate to drive this car across country. the car passes PA state inspection and emission test.again this is a nice daily driver or weekend fun car not a $30k show car these cars are getting very hard to find in any condition let alone in this condition. if this car was perfectly restored it would bring $20k on up at any classic car auction. i urge anyone that is interested to come and look at and test drive the car BEFORE you bid. there is a $500 non-refundable deposit due via pay pal within 48 hours after the auction ends. please call mark at 610-867-3088 for more info
