Vehicle Detail
1972 Porsche 911T Targa rolling body shell. Originally tangerine orange. I believe it is an MFI car with S Trim. The shell has rust. The worst of it is the floor pans and driver door post. Also the front fender wing mounting plates. I see no clear evidence of it having been in an accident. The parcel shelf and rear seat area is very solid as is the rest of the rear end. The kidney beans are solid. The driver side door sill area has rust and bondo, i am not sure how extensive the damage is. Also up by the targa glass appears to have been patched and down around the jack point will need some work. All of that on the passenger side looks good. The pedal box will need repair but should be salvageable. The front pan will need work also but appears to be salvageable. The battery boxes are solid. The doors are original and in good shape there looks to be some small patches mostly on the driver side. Door handles and latches work nicely. Comes with window regulators and all the glass including the side windows and original windshield not pictured. It has the suspension and steering. Also has the brakes all 4 rotors backing plates and calipers they will need rebuild. Stainless targa bar looks good also includes the inner targa pad. Extra parts include: CV axles, Gas tank and filler neck, front marker lights and rear tail lights, front and rear hood hinges, rear lid catch, fuel and oil door, glove box door and headlight rings, Transmission mount, fresh air blower box motor is bad, driver door mirror not broken. Dash pad is included but very bad. No Engine or Transmission only what you see pictured. Consider all parts in need of restoration. No paperwork is included with this car. I have no title / registration for it and do not know its history. Sold As-is. Buyer responsible for pickup or transport from Vestal NY. Payment through Paypal only. On Jul-21-15 at 18:04:32 PDT, seller added the following information: I think the car was submerged at some point. Probrobly after it was dissasembled. It doesnt show typical evidence of flood damage just some dirt here and there. I apologize for not making this apparent to all. Thanks and happy bidding. On Jul-22-15 at 13:01:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Upon closer inspection there is a rust hole in the driver side kidney bean in front. Also there are no front brake rotors. Only 4 rears. Sorry for the confusion
