Listing is for a 1980 Ford F100 with 15,504.3 original miles. Garage kept, one owner, non-smoking truck has been well cared for. 300 CID (4.9L) inline 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed manual runs great. Trim level is Custom, the base model, equipped with manual locks/windows, color-keyed vinyl seat and dashboard, and black rubber floor mat. An aftermarket steering wheel cover was added. On trucks without air conditioning, vents were not installed into the dashboard, giving the driver only two choices for air direction - "Defrost" and "Heat", with "Heat" on a non-A/C truck being the equivalent of "Floor" on a truck with A/C. The following maintenance items have been replaced: gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, water pump, new front brakes (rear drums are fine), master cylinder, heater core, belts and hoses, front shocks, tires 5 yrs old (less than 500 miles on them), and battery 2 yrs old. The gas gauge only reads 3/4 full when filled up, should be fixed. The following additions were installed on the truck: custom pin striping, undercoating, push bar with fog lights, additional brake lights under bumper, under body side plates with amber lights. These trucks are considered amongst enthusiasts to be the last generation of great trucks built by Ford and are now beginning to become popular amongst restorers as the models have just reached classic car status. They are typically considered to be the last of the "classic" Ford trucks, due to the fact it had features such glass headlights, separate turn signals, stamped "FORD" lettered tailgates and analog instrumentation.
