Vehicle Detail

Message me with questions or for more photos. Car is listed locally, so I reserve the right to end auction early. I hate to see her go and thought I'd never sell her. But life gets in the way and I feel terrible, barely driving her enough nowadays to warrant an oil change per year. So, without further ado.... Enthusiast owned, pampered and impeccably maintained. Carfax and Auto Check are clean, but are inaccurate. This is the most reliable car I've ever had. I have most receipts and a meticulous logbook, detailing date, mileage and work performed right down to every time I've topped off the oil. Exhaust is Fabspeed MaxFlows. Transmission was rebuilt by California Motorsports in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I have photos and all records of the work. Clutch is the RS package with lightweight flywheel - very nice mod. I also installed a factory short-shift kit and repacked CVs and replaced boots and bolts. Suspension is Bilstein HD shocks with H&R springs, lowered to Euro ride height, has Steve Wong strut brace too. Engine is pretty much untouched. I have replaced spark plugs and wires, valve cover gaskets, motor mounts (solid billet), the heater blower with a carbon fiber bypass tube and rebuilt the distributor (replaced twin drive belt, caps and rotors). I recently had the the alternator rebuilt, which included a new fan hub bearing (the expensive one) and had the fan and housing powdercoated. Brakes are Big Reds from a C4S. I installed stainless steel, braided lines and I alternate between ATE Blue and Gold brake fluid. Interior is factory classic grey with some mods. I installed black front seats and black rear seat backs. I also swapped the original grey center console out for a black one - very nice contrasting colors. Instrument gauges have aluminum trim rings. I have a dash cover, as is customary in the AZ sun. Shift knob is factory RS and handbrake is factory aluminum version. Pedals are Rennline aluminum. HVAC is excellent. A/C blows ice cold, was recharged in 2013. Electrical system has no known issues. Headlights are 4500k HIDs in low beams and Sylvania Silverstars in high beams. All switches work, though I think the hazard switch needs to be replaced due to broken mounting tab in back, and I have a spare one. My Escort radar detector is hardwired into the rear spoiler manual switch. Interior lights are fine. Tail lights are factory Euro amber version. I have removed the relay which allows the windshield wipers to work on intermittent, as I reversed the wiper blades on their spline shafts (common mod) to increase visibility on driver's side and, well, I never drive in the rain. This is easily reversible and I still have the relay. Rear spoiler control module is made by Ruf and raises at 79 instead of 50 mph - very nice mod. Body had full respray (Spies Hecker OEM paint) after accident repair in 2005. This does not show on Carfax or Auto Check; title is CLEAN and in hand. Frame and body are straight. Rear bumper was replaced with factory Euro bumper without bumperettes. Front bumper was replaced in 2012 with Euro turbo-style (actually US, but with bumperettes removed and holes filled in) front bumper. Wheels are factory MY02 18" and look fantastic on this car. Front bumper has a lot of scrapes on bottom due to very low ride height. I installed the Carnewal front protection bar, but it doesn't protect anything in front of it. Read spoiler is the C2S split grill and the inserts are painted polar silver. Very nice contrast. Accessories included are factory tool kit and air compressor, but no donut spare, as it's onetime use and I used it long ago. PPIs welcome at someone else's expense. On Jul-22-15 at 18:14:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: I DO have the wheel center caps and will include them. I think it looks better without them, but they are included with the sale.
