Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1937 Ford Truck that has been custom built by South Texas Performance out of Victoria Tx. This truck has been in Firing Order Magazine, Ink Pushers Magazine, Cookie Cutter Magazine, Rebel Rodz and several local magazines and newspapers. There was a write up on HOTROD website about the truck when they spotted it at Viva Las Vegas Car Show in 2013. This truck has seen several large shows across the US, including Viva Las Vegas and even attending the Rat Rod Tour in 2014. Here is a little bit about the build....... The truck was build in 2010 by Darrell Heibel, owner of South Texas Performance. He built the truck as a shop truck to represent the business. The body is chopped 4 1/4", The frame is built out of 3x2 rectangle tubing with holes drilled and pipe inserts. The frame was never painted as we liked the rust look under the patina paint job. The front end is a 4" I-Beam dropped axle with buick fin hubs but no brakes up front. It has split wishbones up front that have been drilled. It has cowl steering that was all custom built as well. The back tires are Firestone pie crust wide white wall 825-16 on new Wire wheels, up front is Garfield pie crust wide white 650-16 on new wire wheels. The engine is a 302 roller motor with a RV Cam, HEI Distributor, Parker Funnel Web intake, Holley 650 Carb, lake style headers, transmission is a C4 automatic with a shift kit, 3000 stall and a upgraded valve body. Rear end is a GM 12 bolt with custom painted cover, pinstriped by Pablo Mendoza. Split wishbones out back with suicide spring. Oxygen tank has been converted to the fuel tank. The interior is black vinyl diamond tuck with gold piping. The dash is out of a 59 Biscayne that has been shortened and custom painted. Lokar Radical 32 shifter, original steering wheel. Black carpet. The body has new patch panels all the way around. The truck was originally painted in 2010 when it was built. Clear Texas Title!!!!!
