For sale is a 1979 911 SC project with 91,575 documented original miles This 911 was originally bought at Ryan Porsche Audi, INC of Ft Worth on 8-16-1979 This was a highly optioned model with Cruise Control, A/C, a sunroof and optional 16" Fuchs.Since its purchase it has stayed in the DFW area through a small handful of owners. From what I can tell the 911 was put to brief rest in 2003 The car is in very good shape for having sat outside for 10+ years. There is a small amount of manageable rust in the battery trayThere is also surface rust on the driver door, the driver side roof, along with the sunroof. Besides those areas this car is very rust free. The car is very complete and ready for a restoration Interior:The interior has been fitted with period Recaro seats finished in the same color as the rest of the interior.The drivers side seat is ripped in one place, but the passenger seat is in good condition. The dash was recovered at some point in brown, but the cover is starting to peel and pieces have fallen off. The steering wheel has been replaced with the very rare Porsche Design Momo wheel. The carpets are present but are very faded and can be included in the sale. It is equipped with a later model Blaupunkt Cassette Player, and Blaupunkt remote power locks. In the glove box is the original warranty and owner's manual booklets. The car includes some documentation dating back to the 80's including inspection sheets that note the milage Exterior: The exterior is finished in Grand Prix white and shows signs of age and abuse. The rear reflector has fallen off and broken apart, but is available if wanted. The Porsche badges are in very good shape The wheels on the car are authentic 16jx6 front and 16jx7 rear Fuchs. When i found the car it was fitted with Gold 16jx7 and 16jx8 BBS RS Wheels that can be bought with the car for an extra cost. Engine and Transmission: 3.0L Flat 6 in unknown condition as is the 915 Transmission. Although not pictured, the top to the air filter, and the filter are included in sale.
