Update 7/17/15: All repairs are now completed on this car. The A/C needed an adjustment to the internal doors that help the air recycle (no charge), and now has ice cold air running. The struts are normal and did not need replacing. The car received a new Oil Pan Gasket. The car was completely checked over again, and found to be "in great shape". For many years, I've had service on this car done by Rennen Imports, Inc. here in Tampa, FL. The owner is Steve Rennen. A potential buyer can call to talk to him about the condition of this car. This is my own one owner M Coupe, purchased new on 5/14/99. To be blunt, I am selling this car because I no longer need the power and performance it offers. Instead, I need a car with automatic transmission and a little higher profile in traffic. I am the only owner and seldom let anyone else drive it. No one has ever smoked in this car. Maintenance is up to date, with documentation for a potential buyer to see if desired. It's been kept in a garage since purchase. The current tires are 3 years old and in great condition. They are 'Michelin Pilot Super Sport' tires with a 30,000 mile/ 6yr limited warranty. Added December 18, 2012: A new battery was installed in July of 2014. There are custom made sheep skin covers over the black leather seats. These were put on due to some allergies I was having at the time, but can be removed by a new owner (the original leather seats are still underneath and undamaged by the addition of the sheepskin covers. However, keep in mind the sheep skin, once removed cannot be put back on due to the custom fit. I prefer the straight leather, but the sheep skin is nice to sit down on during the hot summers here in FL. This car has never been in an accident. In 2005 there was one fender bender where a garbage truck, backing down the street adjacent to my driveway, came down the street on the wrong side and clipped my right front fender/bumper. My Insurance covered the repairs (the city did nothing), and you can't see any residual sign of the damage.In 2005 I stopped working and stopped putting much mileage on the car. As far as wear and tear goes, I've managed to chip a few areas of the exterior paint now and then, and I currently see some scratches that I wasn't aware of. Nothing major considering the car is almost 16 years old. One nice thing about an original M coupe is that a buyer can continue low mileage and conscientious upkeep so this car will continue to appreciate in value.The original owners manual is included. The title is clear. The original Harmon Kardon stereo radio & CD player system stopped working. A Panasonic CQ-C700U was installed in 2007 so I could play CD's and music from my iPod. There is still a cable in the glove box that will connect to a traditional scroll wheel iPod but does not connect with an iPhone, or the newer iPod Touch that require a lightning cable. The radio/CD player is 3DDM (3D-like effects from the display), MOSFET 50W (speaker power), and is satellite radio ready. The display has a motorized panel that moves up and away to reveal the CD player. You can also remove the display front panel when parked to deter theft. In 2007 this radio had a wide array of components available for system upgrades. I'll include the original box, and the two booklets provided by Panasonic, one for installation and system upgrade, and one covering operating instructions. There is also a remote included.
