Many of them had either been tracked, lacked service records, were in rough condition or did not have Ohlins Sport Suspension. I found this one and the original owner was meticulous as you can see in the sample of his records. The detailed description of measurements when installing a helmet lock and painting the battery black so it was not an eye sore is what sold me. Steve from Max BMW told me about this bike and how the owner was meticulous in maintaining the bike. So I drove several hours to see it and then had to have it. The original owner used it as a touring bike and his wife had one also. I am the second owner and have only put approx 500 miles on it. This is one of several bikes I have so have not rode it much and I think it's wasteful to keep it since I never ride it. This bike is comfortable and is not much weight on the wrist even old wrist like mine with arthritis. This bike would be pristine if it was not for the scratch on the left rear cowl and small nick in the left valve cover. This happen when I was transporting it in my truck and it rubbed on another bike. To repair this the cost would be less than $300.
