Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1966 Ford Mustang I’m selling my completely restored 66’ Ford Mustang coupe. Original California built C-code v8 pony with zero rust issues. It has a beautiful $6k professional paint job that’s less than a year old and looks absolutely stunning in person. Matching numbers car with original engine, trans, and differential that were all rebuilt recently and have less than 5k miles. Everything has been addressed from the interior to all the chrome trim and every piece of weatherstrip. This pony is a blast to drive and has tons of power under the hood. Be sure to check out all the pictures and videos on the eBay desktop site because they won’t show up on the eBay mobile app. The car was completely disassembled for paint including glass, doors, and fenders. It was sanded down to bare metal and blocked several times to get a clean glass finish. All the chrome trim was replaced when the car was painted including bumpers, door handles, custom front billet grill, antenna, gas cap, tail lights, side mirrors, GT exhaust, both windshield moldings, drip rail moldings, grill horse ornament, rocker panel moldings, and everything in between. Both front vent windows and all four passenger window frames were removed and re-chromed as well. No pitting chrome on this pony as is very common in these areas on most 50 year old Mustangs. Car has original glass all around with no cracks. Interior looks mint and everything was replaced within the last year including new carpet, pony rubber mats, seat upholstery, seat belts, dash pad, headliner, door panels, kick panels, sill plates, door & window cranks, steering wheel horn, rear view mirror, gauge bezel, and other misc trim. I installed a factory A/C console because I had plans to install air conditioning later. The paintwork looks very smooth and all body panels line up great. It was painted with Glasurit brand Paint, very expensive! This is a factory Candy-apple red car so the new look is not very different from stock aside from the pearl white racing stripes. Doors open and close with the slightest touch (see video below). This is a true virgin-body California car with no rust issues anywhere and it has all original sheet metal as well. Quarters have never been cut and it has factory floors, torque boxes, frame rails, fenders, doors, etc. New suspension including shocks, coil springs, all new bushings, upper & lower control arms, sway bar, ball joints, etc. Just replaced power steering rack as well and it drives very easy. No squeaks or rattles in suspension or play in steering wheel. Car stops great with the added help from a power booster. The original power-train was rebuilt last year and runs perfect. Replaced fuel tank and lines as well. Starts right up on first key turn no matter how long it’s been sitting. No mechanical issues or oil leaks of any kind. It’s ready to be used as a daily driver. Engine has a few upgrades like long tube headers, dual GT exhaust, electronic ignition and an aluminum radiator. Engine bay parts were powder-coated for a longer lasting finish. Electrical is in good shape and everything works just as it should from the lights, gauges, heater system, to the windshield washer fluid motor. The Mustang has some pretty unique wheels as well with brand new tires. They are 17” Hot Wheels “Sixty-Eights” and were made in limited quantity (no longer available).
