1964 chevy impala ss restored in 2007 list of things done at restorationAlways garaged and rarely driven Body stripped to metal,replaced driver side lower quarter panel,replaced front floor pans,installed stock interior sound deading pads & under coated all interior metal before installing new interior,Two toned white & grey original pattern & trim interior. ss center console restored,all stock stainless steel inside & out polished & chrome exterior & interior handles & emblems replaced with new ones.main wiring harness/fuse box replaced,reconditioned instrument panel,installed new period correct chrome tissue box holder.replaced stock stereo with dvd player,installed rear seat belts.Drive train consist of new 350 crete motor & 350 turbo transmission w/shift kit,new power brake booster and master cylinder.new carbrator, converted to H.E.I electronic distrbutor. about 2,000 miles since restore only driven to car shows & to take the family to ice cream.exterior all body work done & painted silver steel metalic,repaired & rechromed stock bumpered,reconditon stock ss hubcaps they are an 8 out of 10,all new matching door & trunk locks,new antanas.new windows,rubber moldings & weather stripings.all body mount rubber pads replaced,custom fiberglass panels made for trunk,all ss molding inserts replaced with the good ones not the cheap fake tape,all exterior ss anodized aluminum moldings where chromed,much more to much to list. when I restored the car I rechromed all orininal chrome & polished all original stainless steel with is still in excellent condition. I also chromed the original exterior anodized aluminum ss trims.
