1998 BMW 328i, automatic, $1,600 OBO, 290K miles, Very reliable transportation with a strong engine. There is a slight vibration mostly above 70 MPH. There is a clunk sound when backing up or going at very low speeds. I believe there is a motor mount issue, my mechanic thinks the drive shaft is out of balance. It may be both. Gets about 24-27 MPG in the city and 29-32 MPG on the highway.
