I am happy and sad to offer up this great 1967 Standard Day camper . This is just a bus that is ready to have fun in . I do know the previous owner was an artist ,and him and his wife used this bus to go to shows and display and sell his art . So he did keep it running in top shape to make those long trips across the states . The 1967 Vw Bus was very special, as its the end of an era for the German made split window . First year and only year 12 volt was factory on a early bus . So all the electrics work well right down to the horn, This bus has a 1600cc single port motor , a great shifting transmission . The front end steers straight . Brakes are in good shape . The bus is very much Original as far as the exterior paint , although it has had some rust repaired and paint blended back . the majority of the bus still is its original factory paint . So with that said you can expect mother natures artistry . paint fading , scratches , dings , dents etc . The bus spent the majority of its life in the hills of Montana . So years and years of heavy snow did take its toll on the roof . So it does have some dents and waves . The interior has been redone featuring a fold down rear seat making a very nice comfy bed , table folds down also . plenty of storage under the rear facing seat . new front seat cover from Tmi . Roof rack is included with the sale of this bus . Overall this is a good bus , presents itself well , drives down the road good , and is ready right now to go have fun in . This is not a restored bus but well preserved for a 48 year old van. Its very much original has tons of character & personality. Title is clean and clear from Montana signed off from previous owner .
