Vehicle Detail

This is a solid 1963 pull handle MGB Roadster. It appears to have no rust through on any body panels which is extremely unusual. It is a matching numbers car as supported by the included British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate. The speedometer shows 60,580 miles which is believed to be accurate based on service stickers on the driver's door jam, however I can not guarantee this. Besides having no visible rust through, the body appears in overall good condition, with the exception of the front valance which seems to have been crashed on a curb, and the trunk handle area where someone forced their way into the trunk. See photos. The driver's door panel is missing. This car was running well when I bought it two years ago, but now needs its two six-volt batteries replaced. The car has a beautiful dashboard which includes a period Blaupunkt radio. It also comes with a hard top. The convertible top on the car has a yellowed rear window, but there is a new uninstalled convertible top in the trunk. I do not have time to work on this car and need the space. As a result, this is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder will own the car. If you have less than 10 positive feedback, or any negative feedback, you must contact me before bidding, otherwise your bid will be summarily cancelled. A $500 deposit is due via Paypal within 48 hours of auction end. Balance of purchase price must be paid by cash, wire transfer or check within seven days of auction close. All funds must clear my bank before the car leaves my possession. Buyer is responsible for transporting the car from my premises. I am in Columbia, South Carolina, and will make the car available for any inspection BEFORE the auction ends. You can also call me at 610-306-4981 to discuss the car. This is a good car with great potential, so bid early and bid often. On Jun-11-15 at 11:56:45 PDT, seller added the following information: One of the watchers has pointed out that there's also some slight damage around the left front parking light area. Barely perceptible in the photos. It's minor and shouldn't be a problem to fix. I just wanted everyone to know. And, if anyone who has placed a bid is concerned about it. Feel free to cancel your bid. Sorry for any confusion.KoonsraOn Jun-13-15 at 16:32:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Another helpful watcher has pointed out that, since the speedometer reads in kph and not mph ( the car was originally sold in Canada) the 60,580 showing on the speedometer is kilometers, not miles, which means the car has something like 37,000 miles on it, not 60,580 miles as I originally posted. Keep the comments coming .ThanksKoonsra
