Vehicle Detail
I AM LISTING THIS FOR A FRIEND, IT IS A VERY NICE SURVIVOR 1978 Buick Regal Limited Coupe. As you know the majority of these cars were equipped with a V6, this one has an optional ordered 5.0 V8. If you are looking to buy one of these to customize or restore as a nice driver, look no farther. This is a very solid car with only minor rust, All pans are rock solid, body panels are straight and body lines are straight as well. All glass is good, The interior is still in very nice shape, equipped with factory Buick mag style wheels . This car belonged to my friends Grandmother and has been sitting under a carport parked since 1999, it has been started and moved around the yard and even scooted to the store for gas every now and then. It runs very smooth and is very quiet. If you want a show car the vinyl top will need replaced, and it will need a paint job, as the passenger side fender appears to have been touched up at some point in time. The original spare and jack have never been on the ground, comes with it's owners manual, Now in the state of Georgia it is not required that a car of this age be titled, only registered, so when this car was registered, she kept the Original Alabama Title with the car, this car will come with the original title and the last registration/tag receipt from the State of Georgia along with a legal Georgia Bill of Sale w hich you will be able to register the car with in your state. This is one of the nicest regals I have seen in a Long time, it is not perfect, it is 37 years old but has the appearance of about a 10 year old vehicle. As far as driving it is concerned, I would have it put in the shop and have all of the fluids, belts and hoses replaced beforehand, maybe even a tune up if you want to take off across country in it. Please look at the pictures and ask all questions prior to bidding, Once the auction is complete payment in full is required within 5 business days, cash upon pick up within that time is fine, if you are mailing payment please do so in the form of postal money orders, certified American bank cashiers check ( please put vin on the check) and send a tracking number to verify payment has been sent. Once received and cleared I will do the same with your paperwork and you may have up to 30 days at no storage charge to arrange transport. If you are using a transport service please have them contact me within 24 hrs of vehicle pick up, so that I can make arrangements to meet them with the car. Car also has new battery. Thanks for viewing my auction.
