With only 7,000 miles, this is as close to a factory new 2004 K1200GT as you will find. The bike has been garaged, covered, pampered and driven by a responsible "senior". Originally, I had planned to ship the bike to Quito, Ecuador and ride it for two months to Patagonia, however, I got married instead. In anticipation of the South American trip, I upgraded the bike with CNC machined stainless steel bar backs (easily removed if desired) and a stainless steel brake line. I've also installed new Continental, ContiAttack tires (front and rear) and a new (2014) Yuasa high performance battery. Other OEM features include matching hard cover side touring bags, anti-lock Integral ABS braking system, electronic wind screen, control heated seat and grips and cruise control. Buying in the spring is a great time as it provides a full three seasons of touring. The heated seats and grips make riding comfortable from April into November through most of the country. I believe the very low milage and extreme care differentiate this bike from any others currently available, and the 2004 K1200GT is considered one of the best sport touring bikes made.
