1977 Ford F150 Ranger XLT Pickup Truck For Sale- Almost 100% Stock - 98000 original miles. Clean Arizona Title in my name. Just passed Arizona emissions. Street Legal. History I bought truck to restore and keep. I now have another 1975 Ford F100 truck that I want to restore. This one has to go. I am not a dealer, I had a friend and his shop help me with all the work. Restored this year. Everything was removed except cab. Frame and body was sandblasted and primed and painted. When we stripped cab we found the original Ford assembly line build sheet as seen in pics. Everything checks out. Truck came out of San Jose Ford plant and was originally silver in color as when I purchased (See Pics). I have records and pics that go back as far as 1988 when it was purchased from original owner with 30000 original miles in Carlsbad CA (I have the Auto Trader Ad when it was sold to second owner). The truck then was owned in Santee CA by second owner until 1992. From there, the same second owner brought the truck to Phoenix Arizona. I purchased the truck in Dec 2014 from second owner and the truck is currently here in Gilbert Arizona. I have tons of maintenance records that show history. Rust ZERO Rust. This truck had slight surface rust on the hood and roof prior to being painted. So slight that it could be rubbed off. The sand blaster took care of any surface rust spots anywhere. This car truly has zero rust. Motor / Drive Train Original 460 Motor – Tons of power Original three-speed automatic C6 Transmission – Recently 100% rebuilt and have receipts. Shifts Perfectly! Motor runs great. Edelbrock Four Barrel Carburetor. Power Steering is amazing! Can drive with a finger. Original Front Bumper and Original Mirrors included in sale if wanted for an extra $150 USD. I do not have camper shell. Both fuel tanks operate as they should, you can hit the switch on the fly with no issues. Brakes were bled and adjusted. Great tires. The truck rides smooth and tight. Paint The body and frame was painted two months ago in true matched 1977 Ford Midnight Blue Metallic and Wimbeldon White. I liked the look of the original brochure (See Pic). I have brochure. Beautiful paint. Body was sand blasted and immediately protected with Matrix Self-Etching Wash Primer. Then painted and clear coated. Body The Frame was cleaned and coated with Chassis Saver Rust Preventative Paint. Every piece of body trim is original and in very good condition. Yes there are a few dents in the molding here and there, but overall in excellent shape as it is all 100% original except for drivers side rear tail light bezel which was purchased from Dennis Carpenter. Tailgate opens and closes as it should. Super strong and heavy. Hood opens and closes as it should. Tight. All head Lights, tail Lights, brake lights, and turn signals work perfect, including high beam / bright lights floor button. Bed was painted with matte black rust resistant paint and then pampered with a new Bed Rug liner. Interior Air Conditioning works. Original everything except radio and additional temp gauge. Original headliner is mint. Seats and carpeting professionally redone. Original seat emblems were included in new seat. Pioneer Bluetooth Stereo - Pioneer FHX-720BT and Rockford Fosgate 3-way Speakers in Doors Rockford Fosgate R165X3. All windows were removed for paint, all received new weather stripping, sweeps etc, including windshield and rear window. The doors slam shut nice and tight and there are zero rattles going down the road. Windows crank and roll up and down and work and seal as they should. All instrument panel gauges work including speedo which is still counting and true. Cons Original AM radio installed but disconnected. Horn is there but have not tried to connect. Steering Wheel has brand new OEM Horn rubber but horn not hooked up (yet). Truck originally had cruise control. It is all there, just not hooked up. Motor is super strong but has an oil leak from oil pan / rear main seal. I’m not 100% sure where it is coming from. Only leaks when is used. Once cold and parked, leak stops. When I drive 10, 50 or 100 miles and get back to my garage, it leaks one or two drops of oil and then stops, for weeks. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
