These cut 2 seat convertibles were only made for 3 years. Having been designed as throw away cars ,nobody spent any money on the service and upkeep.For a while it was cheaper to buy another one rather getting fixed what was broken.I have had 5 of these over the years with as many as 240 k miles on one.They are dependable,parts are cheap,easy to get and install.This one has been with me for about 7 years and has been used as a daily driver for 5 of those.Consistent 40 miles per gallon on regular gas make the driving even more fun.The factory red paint still has a nice shine but does show some cratches,dings and cuffs,all in line with being 23 years old.The 3 cylinder engine runs great,I put a new timing belt on just 2 months ago.The 5 speed standart transmission shifts good without gringing synchros.The 5 speed is the transmission to have over an automaticPerformance and gasmileage a lot better you can really hypermile with a manual.The carpet is new and improved,the original is about as thick as a flannel shirt.A set of 15 inch aluminum wheels give it better handling and looks versus the 13 inch factory issue.The dash is free of cracks,the seats are worn but free of tears,the plastic rearwindow on the top is out,the vinyl portion of the top needs to be replaced,i found them for around 200 dollars.All bows and hinges as well as the header bow are good,i drove the car around like this and just put a floormat over the rearwindow when it rained.For questions please call 214/707 9525.Tx buyers have to pay tax title and license fees because the title is in my dealer name.Buyers with less than 10 feedbacks must call me ptior to bidding,i do not have any mare patience for flakes like ebay member wheel-montr who hit the buy it now without any intention of paying.On Jun-04-15 at 19:12:10 PDT, seller added the following information: per rquest I added some pics with the top up.It is good enough not to get wet but the vinyl definitely needs replacement.
