Up for auction is my very nice 1978 MGB with 4 speed manual transmission ( non-overdrive ). This car sports its original paint, new soft top, new tires, wire wheels and comes with a rare "Parish" hard top. Mechanicals: The car runs great and drives like a dream. The car just had a tune up and oil change. The car starts right up with no issues or smoke and holds great oil pressure.. The brakes and clutch peddles are strong and firm.The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues or noises from the transmission or the rear end. The car has tight responsive steering and the new tires ride very well. I would no hesitate to drive this car anywhere at this time. Electrical's: The car was checked by my mechanic is in great condition. The following items are in proper working order: headlights ( high & low beam ) work , wipers work, front & rear turn signals work, front & rear running lights work, brake lights work, backup lights work, license plate lights work, dash gauge lights work, all dash indicator / warning lights work, courtesy light works, the blower fan works, horn works and the radio works. Gauges: All gauges are correct and original "Smith" brand all of which are in working order at this time. Even the original clock works. Interior: Is in very nice condition. The carpet is newer and the MG logo floor mats are brand new. Exterior: The exterior is laser straight with no dings or dents and sports its original paint and perfect original bumpers. The cars condition is a testament as to how well the car has been maintained and cared for all these years. The car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no leaning or sagging. Soft Top: The car sports a brand new high quality "Robbins" soft top with zip out rear window. Hard Top: The car comes with a rare "Parish" hard top. Tops / Covers: The car does come with the high end and highly sought after top cover and Tonneau cover ( covers the full cockpit ). Trunk: The truck is rock solid. The car has a spare tire / wire wheel, jack , knock off tool and top / tonneau cover support rails with its original stowage bag. Underbody: As seen in the photo the car is rock solid and looks awesome for a 37 year old car.
