This is a project car. I really wanted to restore this car, but I don't have the space or time. The car does not currently run, but the engine is loose. The engine is partially dismantled, but everything is there from what I can tell from the 4 carbs to the pan (I have restored 2 other 65 Corvairs). I really wanted to do this car, but I don't have the space or time. It has a 140hp with a 4 spd. Rust wise, the front quarter panels are fairly bad. They will need a bit of metal work. The wheel wells seem good though. The front end is pushed in at the driver side turn signal. The truck is not rusted through, but is pitted. The front floor pans have holes and will need new panels put in. The sub frame all seems to be solid. The rear quarts appear to be ok, but there are signs of body filler in them. It has the typical lower windshield rot too.There also appears to be a new gas tank in it. All the glass is good. The interior will to be redone. The car does come with date code 1969 Chevelle 14x6 rally wheels in very nice shape. The beauty rings and center caps are in great shape. I really like the looks of these on the car. The tires are in good shape too. I also have the original rims that go with it. To sum it up, it is a project car, so it needs a lot of work. Like I said, I really wanted to do this project, but I can't do it at this time in my life so hopefully someone else can. I resorted two other Corvairs, and I really enjoyed them. They are great cars!
