This is a 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120R with matching numbers and a museum quality restoration. The gentleman who restored this motorcycle has been working on Triumphs for over 40 years and still has the original 1970 Bonneville he purchased new. The motor has been restored from the crank up, to include a 1st over bore, new pistons and rings, all bearings and seals replaced, Morgo high capacity oil pump and much more. This restoration was completed on an original 5000 mile motorcycle and has been ridden only 170 miles since the restoration. The original wheels were re-chromed with new stainless spokes and new tires. The Olympic Flame and Silver paint colors were matched to an original tank and the cost just to paint the bike was well over $1200. The paint is absolutely perfect. Every part of the motorcycle was gone through and replaced or renewed. A testament to the gentleman who restored the motorcycle is that it does not leak even a drop of oil (and yes, I checked to make sure the bike had oil). It has never failed to start on the first kick and idle. The transmission has been completely gone though and a new clutch installed. The instruments are original to the bike and work, as well as all the electrics. A new replacement seat was installed and modern braking material was bonded and riveted to the brake shoes for better braking. There were no short cuts taken or expense spared on the restoration of this motorcycle, please take a close look at the pictures and ask any questions you have before placing a bid.
