Up for sale is my 1974 Toyota FJ-40 Land Cruiser in excellent running condition. The Cruiser has had recent service to get it up and running 100% including new fuel lines, oil change, brand new clutch, and tune up. It starts and drives excellent, and is ready for anything you throw at it. Full tread tires, excellent brakes, and 100% functional running lights means you can drive it home or anywhere today. Condition wise, the body is all original with uncut fenders and is in good shape. The window seals are in good condition, and all glass except the front windshield is in perfect shape. The front windshield will need replacement, unless you're going to be driving it with the windshield folded forward. While these trucks are known to rust, this is a SoCal truck so the rust is very minimal on this truck. There's a small bit on the rear lift gate, but otherwise I've only found that the body and frame has minimal surface rust here and there. Hooray dry southwestern climates! The truck was painted a tan camouflage, and has camouflage seat covers for all of the seats. The original body color was a light blue, which you can see in the engine bay pictures. The original seats are black, and the fronts are still in pretty good condition under the seat covers. 4x4 works great! Engine and transmission run beautifully! All gauges work except the ODOMETER, which is frozen at 20,300. Mileage is UNKNOWN. This truck was built October 1974 so, being a late 1974 build, got upgrades the later generation FJ40 Land Cruisers got, like the 4 speed on the floor manual transmission, without some of the gross ones (ambulance doors, yuck). I'm throwing in a lot of extras with the truck. The truck comes with both a hard and soft top, a Ramsey QM5000 winch, and a Blue Ox tow bar kit ($800 retail value.) I have a clear blue title in my name in hand, and the registration was just renewed for another year. As this is a pre-1975 vehicle, it is exempt from smog emissions testing!
