Vehicle Detail
Up for Auction is a Titled Black 1975 Honda CB750 K5. THE GOOD -6k original miles -rare LESTER MAGS -4-1 black exhaust -beautiful stock black paint -runs well and is a daily dependable driver THE BAD -not completely stock -not show condition The motorcycle is completely stock excluding the aftermarket black 4-1 exhaust, Lester mag rims, handlebars, and...that's about it. All of the stock parts that are missing in the pictures (Fender and mounting hardware, turn signals, and side covers) are neatly stored in my shop and are ready to be taken with the bike if the seller decides they would like them to return it to a further stock condition. I have seen the rims go alone for $600 online with cracks in them (they are extremely rare); these rims are in great condition and make the bike have a different appeal to it. Did I not mention the bike has just under 6k original miles only on it ?? (will go up as I ride it daily). The bike is a daily rider for me in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and fires up every single time. It has a fresh oil change, newly rebuilt carbs, new battery, and the only thing it may need is a tire change in the near future. When the carbs were rebuilt the intake boots from the motor to the carbs as well as the carbs to the airbox were replaced with brand new Honda OEM parts. The air filter and airbox are also brand new Honda OEM parts. The side covers are complete but are cracked like the rest of them out there; they will be included in the sale for you to repair or lose, it is your choice. The tank is pretty much rust free on the inside, along with the paint which is black and something I rarely have seen as well, no dents! Also the seat has no tears but one on the strap. The bike is not in show condition due to the previous owner letting it sit in his garage for 20 years, but it is a survivor and is dependable. I never have been a fan of polish, but I am sure if you're concerned it would polish up beautifully. Only hiccup i noticed is that the lady at the DMV made the 4 on the title vin a "Y" on the title pictures included. Stupid mistake but I see how it could happen, pictures are included if you have questions. Also the engine and frame vins do not match just like all of the other vintage Japanese bikes, due to manufacturing processes back in the day. The title can obviously be fixed if you really care by your local dmv or if you think you'd like to fix it before selling it in the future, and the discrepancy between the frame and engine vins...just look that up on google; it was and is very common in vintage Japanese motorcycles. I am only selling this bike due to running out of room at my new place, financing a new 1980 HD Shovelhead build, and needing some extra money for my trip to BornFree 7 show this June. Otherwise I would keep it and ride it as it is my only currently reliable bike. This is local pickup only in Milwaukee, WI. If you would like it shipped that is completely on YOU. I will help the best I can, but I will not ship it for you. Immediate deposit of the full amount is desired, but I understand if it takes up to a day or two to make the full deposit. Full Paypal payment or cash in hand is required before the bike is signed over. Title will be signed over and a bill of sale will be included for your and my own documentation. Thanks, and good luck bidding! Looking forward to meeting the buyer of this beautiful survivor! *Only trade I would be interested in is another Shovelhead or Shovelhead engine plus cash!* Any other questions be sure to ask before bidding.
