I bought this truck in 2005 with 25,000 miles on it from a state trooper in NH. I believe I am the second owner. It has been extremely reliable for me for the last 10 years and I am only selling now that I no longer need 3 cars on the road and it needs some work. I have kept it very clean(see engine and cab pictures) and stayed up with all maintenance especially oil changes every 3-4,000 miles. Other work that I have had done just since 110k would be: Tires(all 4 at 110k, maybe 50% now on both), belt tensioner(117k), new battery(128k), new filler neck/gas cap(131k), tie rods/pitman arm(140k), entire brake line and front brakes(140k), and also rear brakes and the air bag sensor(144k). The heat and air conditioner both work fine. The JVC radio/cd player I had installed works fine but you will probably want to replace the speakers. I am leaving the satellite radio I had installed with the truck so you can activate this if you choose. I also had a pendaliner bedliner installed shortly after I bought the truck. The power windows, power locks, and 4 wheel drive also all work fine. Now for the issues: Primarily it needs suspension work. The rear shackles, rear cross member, and shock mounts need replacing. This is causing leaf springs to hit truck bed. It can be driven but this work should be done prior to driving on a regular basis. Other minor issues: The bottom bolts of the tailgate are rusted and need to be replaced, there is a dent in the front right bumper(see picture), there is rust along both running boards that can be seen in pictures as well as the undercarriage not seen in pictures, there are other scratches and dings as would be expected with a 13 year old truck, left front tire seems to have a bearing noise starting up, and even with all the recent brake work that has been done the abs and parking brake lights just came on the other day(see picture). This is as honest an assessment of the truck I can give you. Again, it has been a great truck and probably will be for you too after some TLC.
