Vehicle Detail
This is a pristine Civic hatch, probably the cleanest one I've ever seen, previously owned by 2 older gentlemen who meticulously maintained it, I bought it and drove it home to where it has been sitting now for a few months. Mileage is 216k, there are no mechanical issues I am aware of at all, the car feels solid and the engine and transmission are very quiet. On the body and chassis I see no evidence of any impact, all panels are smooth and straight, there may be an occasional dimple from a door ding, but otherwise nothing more. There is one small rust spot forming on the right rear fender, the previous owner said once he noticed it he began to spray oil inside the fender on a regular basis and it hasn't gotten any worse. There is no rust or damage of any kind anywhere else on the chassis, it is clean from front to rear. I was going to make this into a VX and use it for a daily driver while I tinker with my other civic, but have decided against it due to financial reasons. Also have a low mileage VX D15Z1 vtec-e engine available if anyone is interested in doing a conversion on the car. Let me know if you are serious and interested in more pictures, will take photos of anything you want. On May-13-15 at 20:30:07 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: It's been several weeks since the car has been cranked, I went to confirm that the AC was still in good working condition and it is. However, while running I did notice some slight bearing noise from the transmission, sounds like the rear bearings. This is rather unfortunate and embarrasing as I haven't heard it until now - or perhaps haven't noticed. If you are not familiar with D series transmissions it is common to replace the front mainshaft bearing and sometimes the rear every 150k or so. I do have another CX/VX transmission with 125k on the shelf I will sell with the car if necessary. Let me know if you are serious and interested in more pictures, will take photos/videos of anything you want in order to represent the vehicle accurately as possible.
