The Chevy Camaro will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary in less than 2 short years, just enough time to complete this 1968 Camaro project. Up for auction is an original 1968 Chevy Camaro project car, WITH NO RESERVE. This car has been stored since the early 80's, when the restoration was started and abandoned. The interior is all original, all body panels are factory originals. All glass is factory original. Power glide transmission is still in car, but the 6 cylinder engine was replaced in the early '80s with a V8 that was removed when restoration started. This is a factory air conditioned car, but compressor is not present. This is the very first car that I ever drove, and it was promised to me over 30 years ago if ever sold. That day came in 2013, I purchased it brought it home, and now due to my husbands health, we are not able to restore it. I care enough for the car that I had rather see it restored and and enjoyed by a new owner, than to see it sit for yet another year.
