Up for Auction is a 1956 Mercedes Benz 220S Ponton with a Webasto Roof, the car is fully restored. Car was part of a small Mercedes collection and driven daily on the summer days. The car looks and runs great. All brand new parts used during restoration where necessary. All gauges and indicator lights including the clock is in working condition. Wooden dash is in mint condition as shown in pictures. The seats, door panels and carpets are original and have not been replaced. The engine has been completely overhauled, including carburetor has been cleaned and adjusted. The webasto roof is brand new as well. The brakes have been in very good working condition. Radiator cleaned, repaired and pressure tested. The engine and transmission have been overhauled and are in excellent working condition. Front and rear suspension are in excellent condition. The car has been rust proofed. Pictures and paperwork of restoration is available for buyer. The car comes with manuals and parts books. The car cruises at 65 mph comfortably. The car was appraised by a Licensed appraiser in Ontario in 2011 for $39,800.00. Appraisal will be available to potential buyers.
