Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1995 Triumph Super III. . .One of 1500 sold worldwide. Don't feel bad if you've NEVER heard of this limited factory build from Triumph and Cosworth of England. Most haven't. Mine is the bike featured in Bikez.com. Three cylinders with Stainless Exhaust...sounds wonderful. Proudly kept and displayed indoors with only 8900 original miles. (That's less than 450 miles/year)100% Original everything*. Perfect condition; no scratches, dents, or nicks of any kind. Carbon fiber everywhere. Aluminum 6.6 gallon tank. As second owner, I've meticulously maintained the bike in every way. All questions will be answered immediately. List price was $13,500, $16,900 invested with *Australian built 3 into 1 exhaust being the only modification. Low reserve auction. Thank you for reading, Mark Background Info: Between 1992 and 1997 Triumph produced the much appreciated but ultimately underpowered Daytona 900. This bike was a successor to the Original Daytona 750 and 1000 and boasted a more acceptable riding position designed to increase its sporting ability. Sadly, although deemed a very charismatic and robust quick, long distance cruiser, the weight was still too heavy to be a true sports bike. In 1994, Triumph modified a standard Daytona 900 with a Cosworth engine producing 115bhp and possessing the necessary carbon fiber extras and lightweight materials throughout. The resulting 1995 Daytona Super III was a much-appreciated successor with reduced weight and increased power to return a more responsive and higher performance ride better suiting the modular design. Presented in striking Yellow, it sports an updated all-stainless polished Staintune performance full exhaust system and enormous Triumph6 disc brakes. This capable and exciting motorcycle is a perfect choice for those relishing the opportunity for true collectability, performance riding and high-speed cruising. Vintage Collectable Authentic Rare Ducati Bonneville Daytona Laverda On May-09-15 at 18:39:42 PDT, seller added the following information: I was just informed that only 803 or 804 (depending on who you speak with at Triumph) Super III's were produced for the worldwide market...much less than the 1500 I described in this listing. Less than 180 total made it to the USA in '95 and '96.On May-10-15 at 09:14:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Question: Has the bike ever tipped over, even just in the driveway? Answer: No never. Not even a nick anywhere. I have bikes that are much more top heavy, and I'm always careful. Never seen any rain, either. If you look closely you will notice that a clear film was added to protect the lower bodywork from pebbles and grit coming from the front tire. In addition, I've never followed closely to other vehicles that may fling stones, etc. I plan to remove this clear material during final detailing because the clear plastic coating is slightly hazy. In addition, I've added a clear tank protector, which will be removed. A carb synch will be the final tune. I've been riding since I was 9 years old and just turned 60. I've logged just less than 600,000 street miles. I buy pristine vehicles whenever I get the chance, and store the best ones indoors. This vehicle is just that. The others get ridden and maintained. The Super III traveled an average 445 miles each year. My upcoming move to the Midwest is not a good environment for this bike...the reason for the sale. On May-12-15 at 12:54:22 PDT, seller added the following information: By request, and in keeping with the theme of a TRULY collectable motorcycle, I've attached photos of the three UNUSED manuals and UNUSED tool kit, with covers for both. On May-13-15 at 18:31:46 PDT, seller added the following information: As requested, I've added two close-up photos of the engine. Thanks for looking. On May-14-15 at 11:28:21 PDT, seller added the following information: FYI: THE BIKE CURRENTLY HAS 8635 MILES ON IT. I INTENDED TO TAKE A FAREWELL RIDE THIS WEEKEND (THE REASON I OVERSTATED THE MILEAGE TO 8900) BUT RAIN IS IN THE FORECAST, AND IT WILL NOT SEE RAIN ON MY WATCH. IN ADDITION, THE CARBURETOR SYNCHRONIZATION WAS COMPLETED AND IT RUNS AND IDLES PERFECTLY. AUCTION ENDS 6:00PM PST, SUNDAY. On May-15-15 at 15:11:18 PDT, seller added the following information: FOR INQUIRING MINDS, I'VE ADDED A PHOTO OF THE OEM CARBON FIBER FRONT FENDER AND EXHAUST. BEAUTIFUL ITEMS.
