I am reluctantly posting up for auction a very nicely appointed 2000 BMW R1200CE. The reserve has been lowered, and extra parts have been dropped from auction contents. This is the Euro model "C" offered as a special edition to the standard line. This motorcycle is being sold by a private party and is upgraded with many mechanical and cosmetic add-ones that make it run and look even better than the original motorcycle when new. This is a very clean motorcycle with only 5,950 miles on it since new. It is in excellent shape and I would not hesitate to ride it anywhere. It comes with a clear title, has never been wrecked or dropped, and has several folders including all past service documents, another including all important upgrades and service aides, a Clymer Service Manual and a PC Service Manual. I experience very little buffeting with this set up.Ztechnik Exhaust with Tips. These pipes have a deeper and slightly louder tone than factory. You will be heard but not offend.Oval Factory Mirrors - Usually found on the Phoenix model.New 3rd Generation Tail light. Original tail light had the typical crack on bezel. This is built better and shouldn't be a problem in future.New brake light includes smoke tinted lens & LED bulb. Also smoke turn signal lenses.Bill Mayer Leather Saddle. It has always been housed in a heated garage. The T-Bags tail bag that is featured in the pictures is also included in this sale. While this motorcycle is in exceptionally good shape for its age, and starts and runs better than new, it is not perfect. I am a private owner and no guarantees or warranties can or will be given. There are a few cosmetic flaws that are noted in the condition section of this listing. There are a few scratches on the frame and a small rock chip on the left side of tank. There is some scratches on the top of the saddlebags. The left side header has some blueing (actually gold), which may be cleaned up with cleaner, but it will eventually return. This is a VERY nice, well sorted motorcycle with very little mileage on it. I encourage any interested parties to view it prior to bidding.
