This is a 1968 Porsche 912K Coupe that sat in a building for 20 years and then was moved outside for the last 10 years.It has been started and ran on different occasions for periods of time and then parked again. It has been sitting outside for 10 years. Rust has gotten into the pans, rockers,and front under battery area. There is rust on the body as well, mostly surface rust, but body rust too. The body line are straight with no dents or crashes. The doors open and shut with ease. Windows are in decent shape, chrome is rusty. This is a perfect restoration project and these are desirable cars. The brakes work as well as the handbrake. Tires are dry rotted but will hold air. Wheels are original to car appear to have been re chromed at sometime. The original wood steering wheel is in great shape. I washed the car off and vacuumed the interior and thats it. I dont want the vehicle to be misrepresented in any way. I am going to start the engine before auction end. I was guaranteed the engine ran so I will start it. The gas tank will need to be lined or replaced. The engine mounts and jack points are in great shape.No broken glass, except for door mirror. I cant find evidence of any crashes in this 912. Please dont be mislead, this car needs total restoration, but is complete. I wish that I had time to work on this car but i am currently restoring a 914 creamsicle and its a time consuming effort as I am not getting any younger..lol.
