1985 Honda 250 ES Big Red 3-wheeler in good OEM condition for sale. I am the 2nd owner of this 3-wheeler and the bike has always been stored in a garage or shop. The bike has been stored with no use for the past several years; I installed a new battery with fresh fuel after the holidays and have decided to sell since its not used anymore. The 3-wheeler could use a carburetor tune-up or kit from its time being stored. If the ambient temperature is cold (45F or below) the bike can be difficult to start, however if the ambient temperature is warm it usually starts quite easy. In either case, once the engine warms, the 3-wheeler does run well. Aside what's mentioned with the carburetor, the bike's overall condition is good for its age. The engine, transmission, and shaft drivetrain works well with no leaks, shifting smoothly through all of the gears. The front and rear brakes work perfectly; as mentioned before it has a new motorcycle battery ($80) and the OEM tires are in great condition - all three hold air, but one rear tire does have an internal adhesive tire patch with inner tube due to a stick puncturing the tire. Both dash indicator lights work, as does the high / low beams on the headlight and both tail lights. The inside of the gas tank is clean with the only known mechanical issue being what was described above in regards to the carburetor. The fenders are all in good shape with some minor scratching. The front mud-flap has some rub markings. The seat has several small holes, though no foam padding has escaped. The gas tank has a couple of small dents and does have an imperfection in the paint when viewed up close. Each of these small issues are identified in the photos. Included in the sale are both factory keys, the OEM owner's manual, and a safe riding brochure from Honda. There is no title, however I will be glad to provide buyer with a bill of sale. This is a nice, original Honda Big Red that will make someone an enjoyable riding machine.
