up for bid is a very well preserved, original 1971 pontiac grandprix it sports the original 400 cu inch engine and a turbo 400 trans with a positrac rear axel and as you can tell retains an almost PERFECT body as a matter of fact this particular car currently resides on the east coast in northern new jersey and there is NO rot or rust through to speak of ! this car has been garage kept for a vast majority of its later existence...there is a tiny bit of oxidation starting at the base of the vinyl top just above the trunk lid.... the seat covers ARE split along the seams but quite frankly it really is just normal wear n tear for a car this old ... new factory seat covers are readily available for these models..it runs, drives, starts and stops just fine, i feel fairly confident you can drive it home( even though its 45 years old )... the car has power windows and they ALL work, the dash is perfect with NO splits or cracks,... everything works as it should, horn, turnsignals, lights, the heater core was damaged and a new one is included in the sale.... overall i think you would be hard pressed to find a better car on a "no reserve auction" ...................................................................................................................................................... ................................................................................................................................................................................................................. ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................
