Up for sale is a 1964 Mercedes Benz, model 230 SL includes both hard top and soft top. The car was purchased in Germany by an Air Force captain stationed there at the time, he also purchased the Stilauto Grifo wheels. The car was then brought back to California, it has been garage stored most all of its life, has almost no rust. Its been painted one time. The car starts,runs and drives but it has been in storage for a number of years. The brake pedal is very low and the engine does puff a bit of smoke. The title is a clear California pink slip. The car has been in storage for some time, the body is very straight all the glass is good with the exception of the rear window that has a small cracks. The interior is all original. This is a 4 speed car it also has a rear rear jump seat, very rare. please ask all questions before bidding a $500 deposit is required within 2 days of auction closing and a balance is due within one week of auction.
