Vehicle Detail
For sale is a very clean 1995 Ford F250 Extended Cab Pickup. The truck is powered by the 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel. It is backed by an 4 speed automatic with overdrive transmission. The truck like most 4X4's of this vintage has 4.10 gears. The rear is limited slip. I have owned this truck for about a year now. I purchased it as a run around truck. At the time I had a work truck that I was not really able to run around with. Things have changed since then. I find myself with a new 2014 F150. This truck is not being used. I hate to sell it, but it really needs to get off the insurance bill and move on down the road. I bought the truck out of the Knoxville, TN area. with around 178K miles. It is a few miles away form 181K now. I drove it home without issue at 65-70 mph. It averaged just shy of 20mpg. When I went out the next morning I found about a 6" diameter leak under the engine compartment. I traced it to a leaking lift pump in the valley. I replace the pump with a new Melling. In addition, I replaced all fuel hoses in the valley, removed and cleaned the filter assembly and heater element. I also replaced the turbo boots. While on the lift, I also replaced the tranny pan with the new style with a drain plug and reusable gasket. The trans has been rebuilt at one time according to the previous owner. I have no receipt, but it shifts and performs flawlessly. All fluids including oil, trans, transfer case and rear differential have been replaced with synthetic. All 4 shocks were replaced as well. After getting all the maintenance items addressed I steam cleaned the entire under carriage and engine. A new coat of chassis black was sprayed on parts that the paint was removed by steam cleaning. There is nothing to hide. I did not spray undercoating all over the place trying to hide anything. The truck is 99% rust free. The only rust on the entire truck is on the mounts for the factory running boards. It is NO WHERE else. The truck came from the factory with all the options as far as I can tell…even roof mounted cab lights. All the power options work as they should, as do lights, horn..etc. The truck is equipped with a brake controller that works just fine. It has a Titan Class V hitch on it with a 7 pin and 4 pin wiring harness. They both work. The bed has a bed liner. The interior is extremely clean. I do not believe the truck has ever been smoked in. The windshield was replaced by the previous owner. It is perfect. The seats and carpet are in excellent shape for a 20 year old vehicle. No tears or stains are present. No wear at all in the back set area. The truck has an aftermarket Sony radio in it. It has a CD player and a place for a memory stick or USB phone charger. Hooked up to factory speakers as far as I can tell. AC blows cold, heat is hot. The dash is perfect..no cracks. The headliner is flawless as well. Tires are E rated Firestones. They all match and have 75% tread at a minimum. I fixed every issue I could find with the truck. It runs great. Glow plugs are fine. It starts up and idles great. It has the block heater plug out front. Currently the truck is not leaking any fluids at all. Amazing but true... The paint is original as is the factory pin striping. There are a few scratches here and there. The tail gate has a recent boo boo. Landscapers dropped the tailgate on the trailer crank down handle and preceded to walk around on it with the tailgate on the handle. Nothing to do but shake my head… Hate to sell… but someone is going to get a great old school diesel that runs fantastic. I don't think it was ever worked hard. Looks great from 20 feet garnering attention almost every time I drive it. I would drive the truck anywhere. I can pick you up at either DFW or Love Field in Dallas or will work with your shipper getting it off to you. I am about 20 miles south of Fort Worth.
