1986 Factory Turbo Diesel Ford Ranger Pick Up Truck 5 Speed, 4x4 This truck is solid, no rust, and as original as it can get. There has never been any repair to the body on this truck, it is solid underneath and on the body and on the box. Since it appears to have the original paint job, probably this would need to be freshened up, but that is it. The interior is just as nice as the exterior, no rips, and very clean. Everything works well, even the glow plug relay works as it should.This is the factory turbo diesel that ford put into ford ranger pick up trucks at the time. It is the more desirable 2.3 turbo diesel engine with a 5 speed manual transmission, 4x4, all working as they should. It has power steering, and power brakes. You can drive this truck daily, perfect on fuel, better than most compact cars. I would trust this truck to drive from coast to coast without issues. In some ways it is better than the Toyota diesel pick up trucks.The topper is not factory to the truck, I can remove it, if you do not want it. The truck also has a bed liner. Which I think is not right, since you should be bidding on the condition of the vehicle, not the seller, and the desire of the buyer to purchase the product, not the desire to question the score of the seller. There is nothing wrong with the truck, after seeing some bids for diesel toyota pick up trucks, in not as good condition as this, go for over 5000, and for ranger diesels in the past go for over 6000, I feel, that buyers are missing what they should be asking questions about, which is the truck, not the seller. I can provide you the paperwork through a customs broker, my cost is 300.00, which would have to be paid by the buyer. The paperwork will be put in your name, so that you can come over to White Rock, BC, and either drive the truck back home, or have your transport people pick the truck up from here and deliver it to your home. With the customs paperwork, there will be no issues at the border. Please also note, that this truck is worth more than what my reserve is, because of its rust free original body, it superb mechanical condition, and the fact that it is a hard to find turbo diesel.
