Frame-Off Restored. 4" Suspension Lift. New 33" BFG KM2's on powder-coated steel wheels. Recent engine rebuild by ACC Toyota. 4 wheel disc brakes. OEM Repro Paki soft top in OD Green with powder-coated Reel Steel OEM bows. Bestop bucket seats. Bestop 1/2 soft doors and full hard doors are included but full doors will need to be restored. Panasonic CD/Pioneer 6x9 Speakers. I'm a Land Cruiser enthusiast and collector who has owned over 40 of them over the years. I like them all, but my favorites are '75-'78 FJ40's, FJ60's and FZJ80's. I'm always chasing another one, but since I can't keep them all I'm often forced to thin the herd. Feel free to check my feedback and you'll see that I've sold several Land Cruisers to happy buyers from all over the US and Canada. This 40 was restored by the previous owner and the work appears to be done well. I wouldn't call this a "Pebble Beach Auction" level of restoration, but it's not $100K either (see screenshot of Hagerty Price Guide). I would classify it as a Condition 2 (Hagerty Value $65,900). This is more of a driver quality build. The paint quality is very good, but not show quality. There are a few small runs here and there that could be wet-sanded, but I'm pretty picky and you might not even notice them. The interior has been sprayed with bedliner, which looks OK but I would probably have it redone with Line-X if I were to keep it. Also, some of the interior pieces might benefit from getting re-painted or powder-coated. It's been completely serviced, and it runs, drives, shifts and brakes as well or better than any other 40 I've owned.
