Thank you for bidding on this 1955 Chevy Shortbed Fleetside Pickup. This truck is a daily driver. The 454 motor and 400 automatic were rebuilt about 3500 miles ago. Power steering works great. Everything on the motor is new. Rear end is a Dana 45 posi with 308 gear ratio. The original column shifter was utilized to shift the automatic transmission (see grenade shifter in the pictures). Original gauges were cleaned and wired to work with current powerplant. (All Gauges Work Properly!). The original AM radio works. The original heater/defroster was cleaned and serviced to work properly. All new brakes. Electric wipers work great. Lights and horn work properly. Get the picture?? Everything works great! The Fleetside beds are much rarer than the Stepside beds.
