Vehicle Detail

Want to have fun on the street, take some corners in the mountains, or hit the track? Here is your car! This Porsche 914 is a daily driver and is in great shape. It runs and drives exceptionally well. This 914 has no A/C and the odometer reads 114,106. The Exterior: The car is original black color code L041 The exterior of this car is in decent shape, but has minor chips, scratches, and imperfections. There are small rust spots on the right side just below the windshield and on the left lower fender. The mirrors appear to not be original and the new mirrors expose a small screw hole where the previous mirrors were. Underneath, the car is in good shape with minor rust in areas. The car also has a small buckle in the left rear quarter panel where I bumped into something. The Interior: The dash have a crack in the center, and the seats have multiple tears - Please see pictures The Engine and Transmission: The Engine is the 1.8, and is carbureted with two 2 barrel Weber carbs, The motor has small oil leaks and the valves could use an adjustment. The car also has an aftermarket exhaust system. The exhaust system has a small leak. The transmission shifts in all gears and the clutch feels good. The ignition system has been converted to push button start. I believe the switch in the ignition is bad and the car will only start sometimes by turning the key all the way. The car runs and drives phenomenally, and handles like no other. Brakes and Tires: The car stops great with new pads front and back and the tires are in good shape with about 60% tread left on them. Undercarriage: Underneath, the car has a small amount of rust. The floor pans underneath the seats were professionally replaced many years ago. The front and rear trunk floors are in great shape with no rust or holes. The battery box has been replaced and the surrounding area seems to be in great shape. This car has a very small amount of rust when compared to other Porsche 914s and runs and drives great. All jack points are solid and in great shape.
