PROS: Very well-maintained LC. In past 2 years the following work has been completed: sealed roof rack, replaced front diff output pinion seal, replaced front diff & transfer case oil, re-sealed sunroof, replaced oil pump cover gasket & front main crank seal, new front brakes (Aug 2014), front axle svc, rebuilt rear hand brake drum mechanism, replaced shocks, steering linkage joints, steering front damper, power steering pump, power steering box, a/c compressor (Aug 2014) a/c evaporator core, a/c expansion valve, power steering pump (11/14), new rear brakes and rotors (1/15). PAINT is in very good/excellent condition. I would say 8/10. Clear-coat is intact, paint is not faded anywhere. No rust. FACTORY FRONT AND REAR LOCKERS. Truck has a very solid frame, only surface rust (see pics). No body rust. A/C and heat work great. New am/fm CD player and speakers. No rips in original leather seats. Engine pulls strong. This is a very clean Land Cruiser. CONS: Power driver's seat mechanism does not work for forward and back function. Common problem with FJZ-80s. The replacement part is $109--front power seat track work gear. Look on Cruiser Parts dot net. Rear bumper was damaged cosmetically. U-Haul incorrectly installed a tow hitch using the 4 holes on back of rear bumper. The hitch ripped through the outer skin of bumper (see pic). I sourced a replacement piece for the bumper at $150. Not sure what the labor would cost to cut out damaged section and weld in replacement. I decided to put a diamond plate patch over that area of rear bumper (see pic). Odometer has a discrepancy. The actual mileage is 212,000. However the odometer reads 85,000 miles. Not sure why this is. Dash may have been replaced in the past. However the true mileage was calculated by analyzing CarFax records. Seller reserves the right to end auction early as vehicle is also listed for sale locally.
